Laser Lab Components, Inc. (LLCI) is a privately held company founded in 2004 and started as a professional supplier of High Quality Laser Optics, then in 2007 switched to a manufacturer of Diode-Pumped Solid-State (DPSS) Continuous Wave (CW), Single-Longitudinal-Mode (SLM), and Q-Switched Compact Lasers with wavelength covering from UV, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red to IR, currently specializes in designing, developing & manufacturing of advanced Ultrafast Yb-Doped picosecond and femtosecond Mode-Lock Fiber Oscillators and Yb-Doped bulk crystal free-space diode directly pumped Solid-State Amplifiers facing to scientific and industrial applications. LLCI mainly conducts its marketing and sales in North America and Europe.

Our ultrafast (Femtosecond/Picosecond) diode directly pumped ytterbium doped amplifier is a single-unit integrated hybrid laser system delivering millijoule pulse energies (low rep. rate) and high average power (high rep. rate) at wavelength of around 1um. The use of solid state laser diodes for pumping of Yb medium significantly reduces maintenance cost and provides longer laser system lifetime.
Furthermore, the output of ultrafast amplifiers can be easily control by PC or control Pad, in which includes: pulse duration (500 fs ~ 10 ps), repetition rate (1 kHz to 1 MHz), pulse energy (up to 1.0 mJ) and average power (up to 15 W).The built-in pulse picker allows convenient control of the laser output in pulse-on-demand and burst modes.
  Ultrafast Mode-Locked Fiber Lasers / Oscillators
Comparing with bulk crystal free space mode-locking (like Ti:Sapphire, Yb-doped bulk crystals), fiber based mode-locked lasers are considered as next generation ultrafast fiber lasers attracted more and more applications in scientific, industrical and medical.
Our mode-lock fiber lasers provide reliable picosecond / femtosecond pulses based on polarization maintaining (PM) fiber and long life time SESAM mode-locking at 1.0um (ytterbium-doped, Yb fiber) and 1.55um (erbium, Er fiber), which are ideal seed sources for building cost-effective robust ultrafast amplification systems.

  Yb-Doped DPSS Ultrafast Amplifiers
As the first generation of femtosecond lasers Initially started in 1990s, Titanium doped Sapphire crystal pumped by high power CW Green laser for mode-locking oscillation or Q-Switched Green laser for ultrafast amplification has allowed people to obtain short pulse duration and high output power. In the meantime, the advantages of direct diode-pumping technology have dramatically reduced the size and improved the reliability of solid-state lasers. However there is no available laser diode for pumping Ti:Saphhire directly due to spectroscopic structure mis-match.
Recent decades the invention of new laser materials, like ytterbium doped bulk crystals, make it possiable to develop the second generation of ultrafast laser systems which are all solid-state, direct diode-pumped ultrafast lasers with advantages of reduced size, improved reliability, higher efficiency, lower cost and un-beatable optical performance for both scientific and industrial applicatrions.
Our ultrafast amplifier system is designed as a hybrid Yb-doped DPSS compact unit with highly computer controlling for pulse-on-demand and burst modes.
